When a new version of Civil 3D is released, it is typically the case that the South African Country kit is not yet available. The Country Kit is helpful because it contains road design standards, point styles, and coordinate setups that relate to South Africa.

Usually, most companies hold off for a year before running the software, but if you are not bound by such a policy and you would like to test out the software, then consider installing the older Country Kit.

It really comes down to copying files in the Country Kit directories to various locations on your computer. You may have to set the Windows file explorer to show hidden files and folders, but besides having local privileges, you should have no trouble copying the files across.
