It is often the case that we use typical assemblies to create our corridors within Civil 3D. When these corridors intersect, we define intersection properties. Since the assemblies are typical it would logically follow that the intersections have typical properties.
In this short video we have a look at the ability of Civil 3D to create an intersection set. An intersection set can be saved outside of the project into a configuration folder so that it is readily available whenever we need to apply a typical intersection definition to the intersection of corridors. Saving intersection sets not only standardizes our intersections and saves us time.
We also show that it is not necessary to create an intersection when creating an intersection set.
