In general terms, the NVIDIA GeForce 30XX series cards carry the same types of processors as the NVIDIA RTX A series cards. When somebody doesn’t have the wherewithal to afford the RTX A series card, they usually revert to something like a GeForce 30XX series. I recently had the opportunity to test and then NVIDIA G force 3060 card while doing a Civil 3D course simply to get the experience of working with that card on a model that I am familiar with. I found that it was necessary to switch off the graphics acceleration at times to be able to select the intersection of alignments. If this happens to you this technique will allow you to select the relevant entity after which you can switch on the graphics acceleration again. My conclusion is that Quadro cards and the RTX A series were designed for CAD and the G force series not.
