When one uses the BIM Collaborate / BIM Collaborate Pro license to view a federated / project model, one can view a very large model without difficulty and create some issues for the team to look at. To do this, just go to the collaborate bar and click to see the federated/project model.

This link gives a comprehensive list of actions to take when sharing models in the cloud. Note that for most model sharing purposes the links are unloaded before sharing.
When one only has access to Autodesk Docs, it is not possible to view the project model as one does in Collaborate.

There is a workaround, that relies on your Revit model being able to link the other disciplines in without crashing due to the size of the federated model.

One can then view this model as per usual

and create the relevant issues.

Yet another alternative is to use Navisworks to view the model. This will at least allow one to view a much larger model, and some IFC and other files that have been converted in Navisworks.

In fact, when one is dealing with a project where models are authored by many different and disparate platforms, this is probably the go-to solution, as the Autodesk Construction Cloud can’t yet clash with every type of model, even if they are exported to IFC.
