In the blogs in this series, we look at the structure of the BIM Model Level of Definition Table
- What the Model can be Relied Upon
- Output
- Parametric Information
- Critical Interfaces and Logic
- Construction Requirements
- Project Costs
- Project Logistics and Offsite Activities
- Project Facilities Onsite and Offsite
- Notes and Associated Project Documents Based on Model Information
In this blog, we have a look at the Notes and Associated Project Documents Based on Model Information.
In the briefing phase, we look at the information, decision, and approval policies.
During the conceptual phase, the technical strategies, commissioning philosophy, capital cost plan, and maintenance cost plan needs to be initiated.
In the definition phase, room information, sheets, detailed construction methodology, cost plans, health and safety risk, management risk, and management plans need to be crafted.
In the design phase plans are crafted in preparation for the future phases, including maintenance, risk management, construction methodology, procurement pricing schedule, and health and safety.

The plans are further developed and applied during the construction phase.
Finally, during the handover and closeout phase, the final account, maintenance procurement pricing, remedial works, and handover and maintenance programs are delivered.
