In this video blog we look at why you would want to earn your data in the construction cloud were you an owner operator.

We consider the server on which you should host your project if you operated outside of the United States of America. We consider why you should purchase a license for the Autodesk cloud and retain that over the foreseeable life of the asset. We also consider the data that is not replicable when packaging the project on handover and why the digital twin should be preserved in its original state. The upshot of this statement is that the owner should own their data. While there is an inherent cost associated with the retention of an Autodesk Docs License (which is sufficient for the preservation of the digital twin), it could be offset by the knowledge that this license offers unlimited storage space on unlimited projects and the cost could be recovered in terms of alternative hardware in preference of a WS storage space managed by Autodesk.
