Civil 3D 2D Surface Style 2D Elevation Banding Colors

Having a heat map showing elevation bands is very useful to understand the layout of the land. In Cape Town, for instance. A lot of the surface area in the “Cape Flats” are below sea level. This results in frequent flooding. When we plan a new neighborhood, these maps help us understand where it is safe to build. Alternatively, it also allows us to understand where we are going to fill the material to lift the neighborhood to the requires level. The usual rainbow heatmap is typically applied, but you can also choose your own colors in the style. This is what we are considering in this short video. When the intervals are few, altering these are simple, but if they are many then it becomes more difficult to custom assign colors one by one.
