1. Access Autodesk Account
Go to the www.manage.autodesk.com
Sign in using your Autodesk credentials.

2. Locate Revit in Your Products
After signing in, navigate to the “All Products and Services” section on the left pane

Scroll through your list of products until you find Autodesk Revit.
Click on View Details under Revit.

3. Download Revit Content Libraries
In the product details page, look for a section titled Updates & Add-ons or Downloads.
Locate the Revit Content Libraries relevant to your Revit version (e.g., Revit 2025).

Select the language and regional content libraries you need.
Click Download to start downloading the library files.
For Metric Families, download UK English Content and International English – South Africa Content


4. Install the Libraries
Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded files on your computer.
Run the installer(s) by double-clicking the downloaded file(s). (.exe files – located in downloads folder)

Follow the installation prompts. The installer will automatically place the libraries in the correct Revit folders.

5. Verify Installation
Open Revit and start a new project.
Navigate to the Insert tab and click on Load Family.
Check the folders to ensure that the content libraries have been installed correctly.

Tips:
Admin Rights: Ensure you have administrative privileges on your machine, as the installation may require these.
Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is necessary for downloading the content libraries.
Multiple Libraries: If you need libraries from different regions, repeat the download and installation process for each region.
