I am currently in the process of buying a new computer. Where does Lumion come in? I have been vacillating over whether I should buy a top-end desktop case and components or an extremely expensive laptop. Part of the decision is whether I would be able to remote into my proposed desktop using a cheap laptop so that I could work remotely if needed and do presentations for clients.

I know that TeamViewer does not really work well with Lumion. There is a delay (latency), and one must think ahead by about a second depending on the internet connection. Thankfully Lumion has written a great article for everyone trying the technology. This article certainly assuaged any lingering doubts I might have had, and I am now 100% certain that I will be buying the desktop with its superior performance. This is thanks to Parsec remoting.
