There are many people who never really use the Revit selection tools. They can be very useful if you know how to use them. I this vlog we look how these tools are used. They can be very useful on complicated models. Shy not employ them to help you model?

Are you tired of selecting linked elements when they are not needed, but do you still want to be able to use them to generate profiles for elements with?

Should you be able to select over/underlaid elements? Do you want to be able to modify them in the current view or just use them as a reference?

How about pinned elements? Do you need to select them if they are already in place?

Did you know it is easy to select floors by face? Not so easy by edge.

Tired of elements getting dragged out of place on selection?

Did you know that you can choose only to select editable worksets?

Use the filter to select from multiple elements only the categories of interest.
