Revit 2021 – Use View Crops and Section Boxes to Design in Large Files

Although I have mentioned the following in passing before, I thought it would be a good idea to focus on the following two methods to make it easy to work with large files in Revit. When I entered a production line for the first time as a modeler, it was clear that there are some things professionals do that make their work easy. In Revit, doing the wrong thing can waste a lot of time.

If you are a novice and you would not like to stand out on the floor as the slow one (especially on larger models), then use View Crops and Section boxes to keep Revit from having to do so much work generating the graphics. Use these views in a design capacity, but leave the published views sitting on sheets until they need to be annotated.
