Revit 2024 has now got a new feature where one can include the Bending Details field in a rebar schedule. This is a picture of the rebar shape and is annotated with the dimensions. This is very helpful for anyone reading the schedule or manufacturing from the schedule as it gives a visual confirmation of what the rebar shape looks like as well as the lengths of the characteristic measurements. Keep in mind that shape codes can represent rebar items that have differing measurements.
When you include the Bending Details on the schedule, you will notice that the field stays empty. This is common behavior for images. They will only display when you place the schedule on a sheet. You need to change the height of the rebar row as the higher you make the rebar row, the better the image displays its dimensions.
