Revit Change Units of the Project using Dynamo and Reference File

Sometimes, especially when doing business with the United States of America, it is necessary to convert files from Metric to Imperial or from Imperial to Metric units. This can take some time if one must go through every unit setting, and it is very easy to make a mistake and waste some time going over the unit setup again.

Instead, what I use is a simple Dynamo script that allows a user to select a reference Revit project that has already been set up as required, then copy the unit settings and write them into another Revit project. This makes the conversion from Metric to Imperial or from Imperial to Metric very easy. Once the required care has been taken to set up the units in the Reference files, the result is repeatable and reproducible, ensuring a fast turnaround time and quarantining success.
