Consider the situation where one would like to exclude lights from a Revit render (perhaps one would only like so see how lights in one room would render), is there a way (besides switching individual lights off or groups of lights off in the render settings) to render only the portion of the building one is interested in?
The solution to this was presented to me first by a lighting engineer, that did exactly that.
Yes, there is, use a section box. And remember, section boxes may also be switched on in camera views. If the section box is switched on, then the lights that fall outside the section box are not rendered.
