Revolve Command Missing – Autodesk Robot

Autodesk’s Robot Structural Analysis offers a vast array of powerful tools, but its complex interface can sometimes make it challenging to find specific features. Recently, while working on a model, I found myself searching the internet for the Revolve command, which I needed to complete my design.

Luckily, I stumbled upon a solution in an Autodesk Forum discussion that worked perfectly. In Robot, certain commands aren’t active by default but can be “activated” manually. Here’s how you can enable the Revolve command:

  1. Go to the Tools dropdown.
  2. Expand the Customize menu and select Customize Menu.
  3. In the Customize Menu window, expand the Geometry menu.
  4. Expand the Objects menu and click the red circle next to Revolve—it should turn green to indicate it’s active

Once activated, you’ll be able to access the Revolve command from the Geometry tab under Objects. This feature is incredibly useful for creating conical elements that can be meshed and included in your analysis.
