I missed the release of the Revit Admin Add-Ins Manager which was released with the Revit 2025.4 update. This is something that many users of Revit have anticipated for a while now (see this Add-Ins Manager idea on the Revit Idea Station) and which is very welcome.
The image below shows the problem most users face with Revit Add-Ins before Revit 2025.4. The tabs that the Add-Ins create in the software tend to take over the GUID. It is irritating (especially on smaller screens) if one must navigate to the relevant tabs using multiple clicks. In the past we would have changed the file extensions or the locations of the Add-Ins on the hard drive.

You can download the Revit Admin Add-Ins Manager from your Autodesk Account. Look under Revit 2025 and Revit 2026 Extensions. As usual, for best results, set the user Account Control setting to a minimum and disable the Virus Protection when installing Autodesk and Autodesk related software if possible.

After you have installed the Revit (Admin) Add-Ins Managers, you can run them as standalone products.

The Add-Ins are clearly listed and can be managed from this interface.

However, you will need local Admin rights to do so. Ask your IT to assist otherwise. For further advice to IT who need to Manage installations for many users, please see the process here.
