Windows 11 Graphics Settings for Autodesk Products

If you find that your Autodesk products are not performing as expected in terms of graphics or even response times, then it might be that you have upgraded to Windows 11 and you are unaware that Windows 11 by default assigns the graphics priority to your software. This is different from Windows 10 and Windows 8.

In this video we show you how to open your Windows 11 Graphics Settings and to assign the correct priority to your application. We also show you the NVIDIA application (if you are indeed running an NVIDIA graphics card) and now you can use that to install the latest studio graphics driver. We recommend the studio graphics driver over the gaming driver as it provides stability for your workstation when you use Autodesk software.

If you need help adopting the AEC Collection or the Autodesk Construction Cloud in your practice or if you are looking to invest in hardware, please contact Micrographics so that we may be of assistance.
