Autodesk Account Reporting – Usage Report

Usage Reports give better insight into who is using software and how frequently. The report can also give notifications for inactive usage. This is great as there are many times that users will want the software for legitimate reasons and then never use it because the reason fell away. The following year when they ask for the license again you have some data to back up why renewing their software is not viable.

New to usage reports is the ability to setup emails to inform you if users have been inactive on the sofwtare. This can be recurring on a weekly, 2 weeks, monthly or 3 month basis. The emails can also give a reports for inactive users for the past 3 months for up to a year.

On the Usage Report dashboard, you will be able to quickly guage how many seats you currently have, with figures for active vs inactive users and the average number of days that the software is being used. If you are utilising flex tokens, you will also be able to see your balance, how many used and the monthly average.

Below the dashboard settings you will get further results giving the name of the user, the Team that they are part of (they could be setup on more than one Team) what access options they have (subscription or flex tokens) how many days they have used the relevant software as well as the monthly average.

If you select any of the usernames, a window will appear which gives an even better breakdown of what software has been used, which version as well as the last date used.
