AutoCAD – Plot from Paper Space

For new users of AutoCAD, it can be quite tricky to understand the concept and usage of Paper Space as opposed to Model Space. This video blog shows how the two work hand in hand to allow the user to model anything 1:1 and to print and annotate it in Paper Space to any scale required.

This is a great workflow, as one never has to worry about drawing to scale any longer! Gone are the days of copying a design and then scaling it up or down. Gone are the days of having to update multiple views of the same element, or using a calculator to work out scaled dimensions.

If you are not modeling or drawing 1:1 and you are not working on legacy drawings, then I strongly suggest you start using this workflow today. And remember that annotative object only adds another great functionality to the viewports.
