When you have a model in Lumion that you need to render in a specific context, it used to be challenging to get the perspective right if you were to use a photograph as the background. Now we have photo matching! We no longer place the photo as a backdrop, place the model and then find a spot to position the observer.
In the photo matching operation, one chooses a reference point on a model. The model has no perspective adjustments needed.
In the photo, the corresponding reference point is chosen, then two directions have two measurements each to infer perspective from. The model is then superimposed on the image.
This is a simple process that should not take a long time to master and will add a lot of value to your renders.
