When you work with lifecycles in Inventor, files, and folders participating in the workflow need to have a category assigned to them. Assigning categories if you check in a 1000 part assembly will be very tedious. In this video, I demonstrate how to automatically assign categories to parts and assemblies. This does not just apply to parts and assemblies abut any files of a certain extension you want to put into the Vault.
