When working in a project you definitely do not want any interruptions to the workflows you know and love with the features of your software. Working with many clients of Inventor and Revit I have always stated that they should never upgrade the software mid project. Too much risk for the cool new features that Autodesk has in their new releases and besides, once you have finished that project you will have plenty of time to upgrade and be impressed with what Autodesk has to offer.
Then came Fusion 360. With this new technology and push updates that it introduced we never had an option and I must admit that I have had a few queries about where a button for a feature was or how the old feature worked because it had a complete overhaul from the update.
Never fear Autodesk has listened and now you have the option to snooze or delay the update. It is not an indefinite delay, up to 14 days for a paid license and up to 3 days for the Educational and Personal use license. Viewing the Job status will give the option to access the Update Now or Later buttons.

If you click on the Update Later button and a few days later you decide you are ready to upgrade, do you still need to wait till the 14 days are up? The short answer no. Autodesk has given us the flexibility to be able to go back to the Job status and update Fusion to access all the new goodies that they will have packed into the new version.
